Red, White, and Blue Salute to Veterans 
May 24-26

Brookgreen staff and volunteers will place flags throughout the gardens at patriotic sculpture and sculpture created by veterans. Printed information about these artists and their work is available at the Welcome Center.

Brookgreen Gardens 5K/One Mile Race
Sunday, May 25 - 6:30 p.m.

Join us for an evening race at beautiful Brookgreen Gardens. The race will begin at 6:30 pm and will wind through Brookgreen at dusk.

5K Registration is $25 through April 30; $30 from May1-23 and $35 the day of the race. The 1-Mile Race is $15 in advance and $20 on the day of. Registration Closing Date - Friday, May 23, 2014. Registration includes a 1 day pass to Brookgreen Gardens to enjoy at a later date. Package pickup will be from 5 pm – 6:25 pm on Sunday, May 25 at the race start line area. Runners will not be admitted to the gardens before 5:00 pm. Runners will be entertained at the start and finish lines by DJ Wally B. 

Wines of the South: South Africa and South America – Wine Tasting and Silent Auction
Saturday, June 14 from 5:30 - 8 p.m.

A kick-off of the Cool Summer Evenings series, our annual wine tasting event will be held in the Oak Alleé from 5:30 – 8 p.m. We will feature both red and white wines paired with tastes of palette cleansing foods. Wines will be available for purchase at the event at discounted prices. As part of this special evening, The Friends of Brookgreen Gardens will host a silent auction and we will have live entertainment. Tickets are limited and include a signature wine glass.
